Skiing great in Lake Tahoe area!

Tahoe South area ski resorts continue to get quality snow, making for ideal skiing conditions! It has been a great start to the ski season.

“We’re still celebrating,” said Carol Chaplin, president and CEO of the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority. “On the heels of another banner holiday season, the forecast has South Shore starting 2019 with fresh snow.”

January is National Learn To Ski/Snowboard Month and individuals with resolutions to try a new sport can partake with Sierra-at-Tahoe’s First Timer package – a 2.5 hour lesson, lift ticket and equipment starting at $175. On demand lessons for the more spontaneous skier/rider are available at Heavenly.
