2025 BREEDERS’ CUP PICK’EM CONTEST
Time for our Breeders’ Cup Pick’em Contest, with a new twist!!! The two days of thrilling races are set for October 30-31 at Keeneland and by entering you have a chance to win cash vouchers!
This year we are running TWO contests, with separate events on Friday and Saturday!
Friday’s contest will involve picking the winner of the five 2-year-old races. The contest will start with the BC Juvenile Turf Sprint at 11:55 a.m. and end with the BC Juvenile Fillies Turf at 2:35 p.m.
Saturday’s contest consists of the nine Breeders’ Cup races, starting with BC Dirt Mile at 10:10 a.m. and ending with the BC Classic at 3:16 p.m.
These are two separate contests with two entry forms!
The contest is straight-forward. You pick the winner of each of the five on Friday, then nine races on Saturday. You will get points on a 5-3-1 basis depending on if your horse runs in the top three.
The person with the most points each day is the winner. The tie breakers are: 1) The contestant with the most wins on each day of the contest; 2) The trainer with the most wins each day; 3) The jockey with the most wins each day; 4) A flip of the coin. IF YOU DON’T FILL OUR TIEBREAKERS, YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!!
The contest is free to enter but you must be present at the Pleasanton OTB on the day of the contest. For example, if you are playing the Friday contest, you must be at the OTB on Friday. If you are playing the Saturday contest, then you must be at the OTB on Saturday.
The prize pool is as follows:
Friday
First place: $100
Second place: $50
Third place: $25
Saturday
First place: $200
Second place: $100
Third place: $50
Once again, you must be present at the Pleasanton OTB on either day to win.
