If you are a fan of the team play events like the recently completed Presidents Cup or the Ryder Cup, you’ve got another golf event coming soon that you won’t want to miss.
The 2026 Skechers World Champions Cup is set for December 3-6 at the Feather Sound Country Club in Clearwater, Florida.
This event is for the Champions Tour players and has a different format than the other events.
The World Champions Cup is comprised of three teams – the United States, Europe, and the International team and all will be competing in 24, 9-hole rounds for the tournament.
The tournament starts on Thursday, Dec. 3 with the Six-Ball competition. Each of the three teams will send two-man teams out. Each player will play their own ball of every hole, with the best score for the team counting.
Also on Thursday will be the Scotch Sixsome portion of the tournament. Once again, there will be three two-man teams. The teams pick the best tee shot of the group, then will play alternate shot the rest of the hole.
The format is repeated on Friday during the second day of competition.
Saturday will be a day of rest for the teams, with Sunday featuring the Singles format to close out the competition.
The automatic qualifiers for all three teams have been set.
