San Jose State Golfer Advances at Augusta National Women’s Amateur

San José State women’s golfer Kajsa Arwefjäll is tied for 21st at 2-over 146 after two rounds of the 2024 Augusta National Women’s Amateur (ANWA) and will advance to the final round this Saturday to be played at the Augusta National Golf Club.
  • Arwefjäll advances for the first time after missing the cut in 2023.
  • She opened the tournament by shooting an even-par 72 in the first round Wednesday. She made three birdies and three bogeys over that round.
  • Thursday, she shot a 2-over 74 and made consecutive pars on holes 8-14.
  • She will play a practice round Friday at Augusta National before her final round on Saturday.
  • Arwefjäll will begin her final round Saturday at 8:40 a.m. ET/5:40 a.m. PT and is paired with Andrea Revuelta from Spain for the third consecutive round.
  • Final round action will be shown live on NBC from 9 a.m. -12 p.m. PT on Saturday.
  • Arwefjäll is the second Spartan to make the cut after Antonia Malate advanced in 2022 and 2023.
