San José State women’s golfer Kajsa Arwefjäll shot a two-over 74 in her final round of the 2021 season as she tied for 36th at six-over 294 at the 2021 NCAA Championships, played at the Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale.
Arwefjäll was in the first group of the day to tee off of the first hole. She started the day with a bogey on the first hole, but bounced back over the next three holes with three pars. She then made birdies on #5 and #8 to go with three more pars to shoot a one-under 35 over her first nine holes.
Making the turn, she made a par followed by a birdie on #11 to go two-under on the round. However, Arwefjäll made a double bogey on #12 and a bogey on #13 to fall back to one-over par. Another bogey at #15 left her at two-over, and she stayed there as she made pars over her final three holes of the season.
Arwefjäll finishes the season with a 72.26 stroke average, the fourth-best average in school history. She was a first team All-Mountain West honoree and recorded four rounds in the 60s including a 67 twice.
