The Masters takes over golf this week!

“Where is the PGA Tour this week”

It’s time.

It does not get any better than Masters week. I watch a lot of golf but when the Masters rolls around each year, it’s hours upon hours of TV time.

Golf’s first major takes place this week and you can see my other story on why I feel the Masters is the best tournament of the year.

As always, there are some must-watch feature groups through the first two rounds of the tournament.

Here are the Thursday starting times. All times are PDT.

6:55 a.m.: Patrick Reed, Tommy Fleetwood, Akshay Bhatia.

7:07 a.m.: Bryson DeChambeau, Matt Fitzpatrick, Xander Schaufflele.

7:31 a.m.: Cameron Young, Rory McIlroy, Mason Howell (A).

10:08 a.m.: Chris Gotterup, Ludvig Aberg, Jon Rahm.

10:20 a.m.: Jordan Spieth, Justin Rose, Brooks Koepka.

10:44 a.m.: Scottie Sheffler, Robert MacIntyre. Gary Woodland.

Who wins the Green Jacket this year?

It’s a tough scenario. It’s a tournament that is won by someone that is in form as it’s a course/tournament where you find your form during the week.

For me it’s easier to have a pool of players where the winner will come from. The easy out? Absolutely!

It would easy to say McIlroy or Sheffler will be the winner, but it just seems like Scheffler’s game has been a little bit off this year, but his wife giving birth to their second child just 10 days ago, maybe he will be relaxed.

McIlroy can overpower Augusta National with his driver and if his iron play is on, he certainly could be the first to go back-to-back since Tiger did it in 2001-2002.

Justin Rose is certainly another favorite, but his game has been a bit off and that may cost him this week.

Cameron Young is one of my picks, especially with the ball striking he displayed in winning The Players this year. That type of brilliance at the TPC Sawgrass will translate here.

Bryson DeChambeau, Matt Fitzpatrick, Xander Schauffele, Ludvig Aberg, and Jon Rahm could find themselves in the final group on Sunday.

Jordan Spieth and Brooks Koepka can both find their way around the course and earn spots up near the top of the leaderboard.
