“Where is the PGA Tour this week”
The regular season of the PGA Tour wraps up this week with the Wyndham Championships in North Carolina.
Though not a loaded field, the tournament is very important to most of the players as it is the final chance for people to gain entry into the FedExCup playoffs that begin next week.
The top 70 in the FedEx standings make it into the playoffs. All the golfers that fall between 61-125 in the standings are in the tournament.
Cameron Young ranked No. 3 in the world, is back to defend what his first tournament title was. Jackson Koivun, the rookie that won two weeks ago in the 3M Open, his third professional start, sits at No. 70 heading into this week.
Television will be on the Golf Channel Thursday and Friday from 12 noon-3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, the coverage is 10 a.m. to 12 noon on the Golf Channel, then 12 noon to 3 p.m. on CBS.
