Winners for the inaugural California Signature Wine Awards have been announced after 419 wines entered and were judged over a period of two days.
California Signature Wine Awards Best of Show Winners:
- Red: Macchia – 2024 Prestigious (Amador County, CA)
- Red Blends: Wood Family Vineyards – 2023 GSM (Livermore Valley, CA)
- White: Navarro Vineyards – 2025 Pinot Gris (Anderson Valley, CA)
- White Blends: Cellar 13 Winery – 2025 Sidanelv (Livermore Valley, CA)
- Rosé (TIE)
- Garre Vineyard and Winery – 2025 Rosato di Sangiovese (Livermore Valley, CA)
- Navarro Vineyards – 2025 Rosé – Pinot Noir (Anderson Valley, CA)
Award-winning wines will be prominently displayed to thousands of guests at the Alameda County Fair from June 19 through July 12, and during the Wine Fest event on June 27. Various Gold Medal wines will be available daily by the glass in the Wine Garden, offering direct consumer exposure during the Fair’s 18-day run.
The Livermore Valley Wine Community (LVWC) also celebrated the Livermore Valley’s California Signature Wine Awards winning wines at Uncorked! on May 15, 2026 at McGrail Vineyards & Winery in Livermore, CA.
