Schramsberg Vineyards, arguably the top sparkling wine house in California, is offering virtual tastings.
One option is a weekly virtual tasting with vintner Hugh Davies. This week it will take place on Friday, May 29 at 5 p.m. when Hugh will be joined by special guest, award-winning celebrity chef and TV personality Bren Herrera.
Together they will taste and talk about the Davies Vineyards 2016 âSimpkins Vineyardâ Cabernet Sauvignon, Davies 2016 âWinfield Vineyardâ Cabernet Sauvignon, and they will have a âsneak peekâ of Schramsbergâs upcoming new release of our 2016 Querencia Brut RosĂ©.
Bren will discuss her Afro-Cuban roots and how as a chef she combines Cubaâs vibrant cuisine, seeded in African, European, and Spanish culture, with modern flairs and textures. An avid lover of wine, Bren will present a special recipe, her Tarragon-Mustard Braised Short Ribs, chosen to pair with the Cabernet Sauvignons.
