SJSU Women’s Golf 2nd After Day One of Lamkin Invitational

Despite not finishing the second round of the day, the 12th-ranked San José State women’s golf team sits in second place after playing 34 holes at the Lamkin Invitational at The Farms Golf Club.

  • Second-round play was suspended around 6:15 p.m., due to darkness. All five SJSU players had either one or two holes left on her round.
  • Natasha Andrea Oon is three-over par through 35 holes played, shooting a three-under 69 in the first round, followed by even par through 17 holes.
  • Jordyn Parr, playing as an individual, is tied for 12th at one-over with two holes remaining in her second round.
  • The Spartans were tied with Arizona State for second place after the first round at one-over 289, trailing top-ranked Stanford by nine shots.
  • Teams will resume play Tuesday morning to finish the second round before beginning the third round.
