The fifth-ranked San José State women’s golf team heads to the 2022 Mountain West Championship this Monday to Wednesday at the Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
The Spartans will play 18 holes each day, starting the tournament Monday with tee times beginning at 7 a.m. The team plays with San Diego State and Colorado State for the first round.

The Spartans best finish at the MW Championship was second in 2014, the first year the school joined the conference.
Natasha Andrea Oon returns to the course where she played The Chevron Championship on March 31 and April 1. She shot 74-73-147, +3, for her two rounds and missed the cut by only two shots.
In four tournaments this spring, the Spartans finished first at the Lamkin Invitational, first at the Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational, second at the MountainView Collegiate and first at the Silverado Showdown. San José State has not finished lower than fifth in the team standings in the eight tournaments played this season.
