The top 30 players in the FedExCup playoffs at the end of last week’s BMW Championship advanced to the Tour Championship.
For the second straight year, the tournament will played as a 72-hole, stroke play event, with all the players starting even.
The winner receives the FedExCup, a $10 million bonus, and a five-year PGA Tour exemption.
The Tour Championship takes place at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, where the championship has been since 2005.
The biggest movers in the last week were Gary Woodland, Patrick Cantlay, and Robert MacIyntre.
Woodland moved from No. 31 to No. 18 after finishing fourth in the BMW. Cantlay went from No. 43 to No. 19 and finishing second, and MacIyntre went from No. 36 to No. 25.
Tommy Fleetwood is the defending champion and looks to become the first back-to-back champion. Rory McIlroy is seeking to become the first four-time FedExCup champion.
The television coverage is extensive. Thursday-Friday it will be on from 8 a.m.-10 a.m. on ESPN, then 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on the Golf Channel. Saturday coverage will be 10 a.m. to 12 noon on the Golf Channel, then 12 noon to 4 p.m. on CBS. The final round on Sunday will on from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Golf Channel
