San José State women’s golfer Antonia Malate shot a 6-over 78 at the Augusta National Golf Course on Saturday to finish tied for 25th at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur (ANWA).
- Malate finished the tournament at 11-over 227, after shooting a 6-over 78 in the third round.
- Her only birdie of the round came on the par-5 15th hole.
- Malate was the first San José State women’s golfer to ever compete at the ANWA.
San José State is back on the course this Monday through Wednesday, April 4-6, at the Silverado Showdown at the Silverado Resort and Spa.
