San José State women’s golfers Natasha Andrea Oon and Antonia Malate received invitations to play at the 2022 Augusta National Women’s Amateur, March 30-April 2.

The two will travel to Georgia to play in the tournament the week prior to the Masters Tournament. The international field will compete in 54 holes of stroke play, with a cut to 30 players after 36 holes. The first two rounds will take place on the Island and Bluff nines at Champions Retreat Golf Club in Augusta, Ga., March 30 and 31. The entire field then will play Augusta National for an official practice round on April 1, before the final round takes place at Augusta National on Saturday, April 2, featuring the top-30 players who made the cut.

NBC Sports will broadcast three hours of live coverage of the final round on April 2, from 12-3 p.m. ET.

Oon and Malate led the Spartans to one of the best fall semesters in recent history as SJSU placed second in three of the four tournaments played. Oon finished second at The Molly Collegiate Invitational and third at the Stanford Intercollegiate, while Malate was fourth at the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational and fifth at the Molly Collegiate Invitational.
