Where’s the PGA Tour this week?

“Where is the PGA Tour this week”

The week after a major is always going to be a letdown on the PGA Tour and that’s not a knock on the tournament but rather the emotional intensity of a major compared to regular tour events.

This week brings the CJ Cup Byron Nelson in Dallas, and it does have the benefit of Scottie Scheffler being the defending champion.

Scheffler will return in hopes of defending his title at the same place he made his tournament debut in 2014 as a 17-year-old amateur. Scheffler actually finished 22nd that year.

Last year Scheffler won by eight strokes, the second most in tournament history.

Another well-known Dallas player Jordan Spieth will also play this week. Spieth also made his pro debut at the tournament, playing as a 16-year-old in 2010 where he finished in a tie for 16th.

The course is the TPC Craig Ranch, a course that went through a $25 million overhaul in 2025.

The tournament will be televised Thursday-Friday from 12 noon-3 p.m. on the GOLF Channel, then on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on the GOLF Channel from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on GOLF Channel and 12 noon to 3 p.m. on CBS.
