- Oon shot a 1-under 71 in the final round, including three-under over the final 10 holes, to win the title.
- Oon joined a prestigious list of Spartans who have won a conference title, starting with current head coach Dana (Lofland) Dormann who won the PCAA title in 1987. Others on that list include – Pat Hurst, Denise Philbrick, Tracy Hanson, Lisa Walton, Janice Moodie, Marie Hedberg, Ashley Gomes, Jenelle Gomez and Erica Moston.
- Oon set the championship scoring record of 10-under par, breaking the previous record of 7-under 209, set by Therese Koelhaek of UNLV (2011) and Ryley Webb of New Mexico (2001).
- Oon also set the record for largest winning margin, winning her first championship title by seven shots and breaking the old record of five set by Alexandra Kaui of UNLV in 2016.
- The Spartans finished 1-2-T3 in the individual standings. After Oon, Lucia Lopez Ortega finished second at 3-under 213. She shot even par in the final round as she and Oon were the only two players in the field to finish under par.
- Kajsa Arwefjäll shot an even-par 72 in the final round and tied for third place at even-par 216, tying with Lauren Lehigh of New Mexico.
- Antonia Malate tied for 15th at 9-over 225, while Louisa Carlbom tied for 26th at 13-over 229.
- San José State won its first Mountain West women’s golf title in school history after joining the conference in 2013-14. This marks the 21st conference title in school history, dating back to the late 1970s when SJSU won four NorCal Conference Championships. The Spartans won 10 Big West and six Western Athletic Conference championships.
