The final rosters have been set and now what remains is the competition as the Presidents Cup comes to life September 22-27 at the Medinah Country Club outside of Chicago.
Here are the six players for each team that earned their way on via points:
United States: Scottie Sheffler, Cameron Young, Wyndham Clark, San Burns, Russell Henley, Collin Morikawa.
International: Si Woo Kim, Ryan Fox, Hideki Matsuyama, Min Woo Lee, Tom Kim, Adam Scott.
Tuesday night, the six Captain’s Picks were announced:
United States: Patrick Cantlay, Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas, Jacob Bridgeman, Chris Gotterup, Jackson Koivun.
International: Christian Bezuidenhout, Corey Conners, Sungjae Im, Nico Echavarria, Ryo Hisatsune, Nick Taylor.
There are four days of competition in the Presidents Cup, with all matches being determined in match play.
September 24 (Thursday): Five Foursome matches. Players play Alternat Shot.
September 25 (Friday): Five Four-Ball matches: Play your own ball throughout each hole and the lowest score wins the hole.
September 26 (Saturday): Four Foursome, four Four-Ball. Eight points are available.
September 27 (Sunday): There are 12 singles matches on the final day. If the two teams tie 15-15, the two sides share the Cup. Since the United States holds the Cup right now, the International team would need to win outright to wrestle the Cup away from the United States.
