There may be no Steph Curry this summer in Lake Tahoe as he is representing the United States in basketball at the Paris Olympics, but the American Century Championship will roar on!
The tournament, now in its 35th year, will run July 10-14 at the Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course at beautiful South Lake Tahoe.
July 10 will feature practice rounds, with July 11 featuring the Celeb-Ams, as well as the Korbel Long Drive Challenge.
The 54-hole tournament starts July 12, which also will feature the Korbel Closest to the Pin contest. The second and final rounds will be July 13-14.
Even without Curry playing this year, the field is still loaded with current and former professional athletes, comedians, actors, musicians, and media personalities.
Former quarterback Jim McMahon and actor Jack Wagner have played in all 34 previous tournaments, and both will be in the field this year.
Some of the former or current athletes are Davante Adams, Josh Allen, Aaron Rodgers, Seth Curry, Joe Pavelski, Charles Barkley, Tim Brown, John Elway, Jerry Rice, Annika Sorenstam, Charles Woodson, Dell Curry, Roger Clemons, Mark Mulder, Tony Romo, and Steve Young.
Brian Baumgartner, Larry the Cable Guy, John O’Hurley, Alfonso Ribeiro, Rob Riggle, and Ray Romano are some of the comedians playing.
Country singers Jay DeMarcus and Jake Owen will also be in the event.
Don Cheadle, Michael Pena, and Miles Teller are the other actors joining Wagner in the tournament.
Bret Baier, Jay Bilas, Joe Buck, and Carson Daly are some of the media personalities playing.
The tournament will be shown on Peacock, the Golf Channel, and NBC.
