As we move through the dog days of summer – at least we are opened back up – at ACES we are excited about what the upcoming months hold for both our staff, and our readers!
Starting in August the excitement will begin to build for a couple of upcoming professional golf events! First, we will have the Fortinet Championship PGA Tour event (formerly the Safeway Open) at the Silverado Resort in Napa from September 13-19.
Tournament organizers have promised to keep the fun social vibe that the Safeway Open presented alive and well. Of all the PGA Tour events we have attended, this event is always right up near the top in fun and excitement! Look for some big news of the tournament being released next week and you get it all right here at ACES!
The next week – September 21-26 – the Ryder Cup, the intensely patriotic battle between the top golfers in the United States and Europe, takes place at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin! We will be virtually covering the event, bringing you all the latest news and interviews throughout the week!
As wineries and restaurants are getting back up to speed, so too will our coverage of those establishments, bringing you the inside story for top wineries and dining establishments throughout Northern California.
In addition, this fall we will increase our profiling of watering holes to include the ever-increasing popularity of brew pubs! You’ve asked and we get it! Let’s get inside the brew pub business!
We are also hard at work putting together some promotions that involve golf, wine, and fine dining! All subscribers to our mailing list are eligible to win!
We are also going to explore the role of music in golf! It seems music and golf are going together more often and let’s talk with industry insiders to find out about the revolution, as well as offer some great tunes for the course!
Finally, you have shown us consistently that you love reading our Top 10 lists, whether it is golf, lodging, eating, and of course partaking in adult beverages.
