The series of fires throughout Northern California is taking its toll on businesses as well as property. Porter-Bass Winery, located just outside of Guerneville has been forced to shut down temporialy because of the fires in Sonoma County.

Dear Friends,
I hope this note finds you all safe and secure. Unfortunately the wildfires are back and closer than ever before. This has us preparing to evacuate and we have had to cancel all tasting appointments for this coming week. Many roads are blocked off and even if we are allowed to stay at the vineyard it is not a healthy setting to host tastings. We hope that in a weeks time things will have settled down and we can resume our tastings.
