SONOMA, Calif. – Caleb Shetler shot a 208 (-8) and finished tied for third to lead San José State at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational from the Sonoma Golf Club.
- Shetler shot a 65 in the second round which is a career-best and his tied for third place finish is a season best.
- SJSU tied a season best finishing third overall after shooting an 858 (-6) for the tournament
- Kristopher Stiles had his best tournament of the season tying for 10th after carding a 212 (-4)
- Avinash Iyer shot a career-best 216 (E) which was good for a tie for 17th
- Zubair Firdaus carded a 219 (+3) and Kotaro Murata finished with a 222 (+6)
- The Spartans had nine rounds of par or better in the tournament
