SJSU Women’s Golf Readies for MW Championship Play Tue-Thurs

The 26th-ranked San José State women’s golf team begins the quest for a Mountain West Championship on Tuesday in the first of three rounds on consecutive days at the Mission Hills Golf Course in Rancho Mirage, Calif.

The Spartans have won the championship just once, 2022, since joining the conference for the 2013-14 school year. There was no championship contested in 2020 due to the pandemic.

The nine teams vying for the trophy will play 18 holes each day. San José State begins the first round on Tuesday at 7 a.m., playing alongside New Mexico and Fresno State. Tee times for rounds two and three will be determined by placings after each round.

Fans can watch the tournament as it happens live on GolfKast.tv. There are 20 cameras on select holes and one mobile camera. Fans will need to sign up for a free account to watch the championships. Once registered, you can click on any camera you want to watch as all cameras are on-demand.

The Mountain West’s own Jesse Kurtz will provide play-by-play commentary, while former San Diego State head coach and LPGA professional Leslie Spalding will serve as an analyst for the three rounds.
