“Where is the PGA Tour this week”
The week following a major is not usually an event stocked with top players, but this week is going to be a huge exception.
The Travelers Championship is the last PGA Tour Signature event of the 2026 season and the TPC Highlands is just a short hope from Shinnecock Hills where the U.S. Open was held last week.
As a result, there are eight of the top 10 players in the world golf rankings entered in the tournament, including world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and the U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark, who last week won his second U.S. Open in four years.
Also possibly enticing to some of the golfers that TPC Highlands is one of the shortest courses on the PGA Tour at 6,844 yards.
Keegan Bradley returns to defend his title from a year ago. Jordan Spieth, who previously won the tournament is in the field as well.
The television schedule is as follows: Thursday/Friday 12 noon-3 p.m. on the Golf Channel. Saturday, 10 a.m.-12 noon on Golf Channel and 12 noon-3 p.m. on NBC. Sunday, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Golf Channel and 1 p.m.-4 p.m. on NBC.
