SJSU’s Oon Named First Team All-American

San José State University women’s golfer Natasha Andrea Oon continues to add to her honors as she received Women’s Golf Coaches Association First Team All-America recognition.
Oon is the just the eighth Spartan to earn first team honors and the first since Janice Moodie in 1997.

  • This is the second All-America honors for Oon after she was a second-team honoree in 2019.

The criteria used to determine the WGCA All-American Teams include:
·       Head-to-head competition
·       Comparison with common opponents
·       Scoring average
·       Place finishes in regular season events and tournament wins
·       Strength of schedule

The WGCA Second Team and Honorable Mention Team will be announced after the conclusion of the tournament.
