The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa is honoring Veteran’s Day this year with the 4th Annual Desert Patriot Golf Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 10.
Presented by General Air Conditioning and Plumbing, the event will benefit Folds of Honor, a foundation that helps children and spouses of fallen and disabled service members. Players are encouraged to show their appreciation for military personnel by helping raise funds for this great cause while having some fun at the golf course. Organizers have set a goal of $20,000 for the foundation.
The golf tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. One active duty service member will be paired with every group on the course using a “Drop Out Scramble” format. The event includes tee gifts for all players, silent auctions before and after the event, a Hole-in-One car giveaway and post-golf lunch and awards. Team and individual prizes will be awarded.
The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa is home to two award-winning golf courses, the Pete Dye Resort Course’s challenging design and the Gary Player Signature Course’s friendly layout. This tournament will be held on the Gary Player Course. Registration fee is $175 per person.
Players can register online at www.playmissionhills.com or by calling 760.328.3198.
