Waste Management Phoenix Open – A Party in the Desert!

It’s time for the party in the desert.

The Waste Management Phoenix Open at the TPC Scottsdale has taken festivities around a golf tournament to a whole new level. To say the WMO is just a party is like calling Mardi Gras just a parade.

It doesn’t get any better and has been so successful embracing the social aspect of a PGA Tour event, other tournaments – the Safeway Open in Napa being one -are trying their best to emulate the tournament, making it an event rather than just a tour event.

I had the absolute joy of getting to be at the tournament one year and following is the link to the story I wrote.

Words cannot do the tournament justice. You must make it to the event in person one year – you won’t regret it.

Here’s my breakdown for this week with my Fantasy picks.

Salary team ($100,000 limit): Jordan Spieth ($33,300), Tony Finau ($26,000), Brandt Snedeker ($19,200), Smylie Kaufman ($7,500), Michael Kim ($6,500) and Tom Lovelady ($6,300).

One and Done: Kevin Chappell.
