The California men’s golf program added a fourth member to its 2024 signing class, as Alex and Marie Shipman Director of Men’s Golf Walter Chun announced Tuesday that Zhengfei Han signed his National Letter of Intent to join the Golden Bears.
Han – who goes by Richard – joins Kai Hirayama, Matthew Miyamoto and Ziqin (Eric) Zhou as members of the incoming class that will arrive in Berkeley ahead of Cal’s 2024-25 campaign. The class includes three California-based golfers, including Han, who hails from Irvine.
“We are fortunate to add Richard to the roster next season,” Chun said. “He’s played some great golf at the amateur level and he has a tremendous work ethic and high aspirations to take his game to the next level.”
