This from our friends at Meadowood….
Thank you for all of the lovely messages of concern and support so many of you have been sending. Your kindness has helped to sustain us through these challenging days. We have staff, colleagues, friends and community members who have lost homes and businesses during the past week; and some who continue to be displaced from homes in evacuated areas. Our brave neighbors in Sonoma County are still facing great uncertainty and our hearts remain with them as heroic teams of firefighters from near and far join together to protect life, property and livelihoods in both counties.
Through all of this, our resilient Napa Valley wineries have continued to bring in the 2017 harvest and most are reopening to visitors.
As the fires surrounding us are being contained, our acclaimed restaurateurs are firing up their stoves and our merchants are opening their doors. Napa Valley’s legendary hospitality is alive and well and the people of Napa Valley are eager to work. We are grateful for those new and returning guests who will be joining us in celebrating all that has been saved in our beautiful region.
Meadowood will reopen Thursday, October 19, and we look forward to welcoming you. For any assistance you may need with existing reservations, please email [email protected]. We are also accepting new reservation.
Should you wish to offer additional support to those most affected, kindly visit Napa Valley Community Disaster Relief Fund.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Patrick Nayrolles, General Manager
